Hi, I'm Eylen!

Pronounced "eye-leen"

As a UI/UX designer, my experience includes designing a live streaming platform, re-designing Microsoft’s security portal, creating design systems & UI/UX mockups for Fortune 500 companies, and front-end engineering.

I completed Designlab's UX Academy where I learned UI/UX principles, researching, testing, prototyping, and more. On top of my formal experience, I love creating art inspired by my Korean and Russian upbringing. It's natural for me to combine my knack for art & design with my knowledge of code to create user-centered digital experiences.

My journey

My journey with UI/UX design began with being an eCommerce UI Developer. As I spent time designing and coding components for our design system, I was captivated by the impact design could make over the entire user experience. It was in these moments that I recognized the limitations of coding alone, and a strong desire to use my creativity and understanding of the web to design experiences people will enjoy, need, and return to.

This realization led me to start my formal UX education at DesignLab. The journey doesn’t end there — I am always on the lookout for ways to leverage UI/UX design with engineering to create meaningful and intuitive digital experiences.
